VBCS dual counterbalance valves, also known as overcentre valves, provide an all in one solution for cylinder or motor load holding and travel speed.
A dual counterbalance valve is designed for use on double acting cylinders/motors and controls movement in both directions.
Counterbalance valves operate on a pilot ratio, a 1275psi system with a 4.25:1 ratio valve installed, requires 300psi applied to the pilot line to open the valve in the controlled direction.
Until the correct pressure is applied to the pilot line, the valve remains closed, ensuring the cylinder/motor cannot move.
Fine adjustment is a feature within the valve, it allows you to control the travel speed of the cylinder/motor in both controlled directions by simply turning the appropriate adjustment screw.
Designed for use with open centre Cetop valves, this valve is mounted between the Cetop directional control valve and the Cetop valve subplate/manifold.

The VBCs range is produced by Oleoweb at their production facility located in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
Oleoweb valves have been a feature in the Australian market for over 10 years, their key point of difference to many competitors is that most valves are available using steel bodies rather than aluminium. Steel bodied valves are capable of far higher working pressures and are less likely to warp or crack than an aluminium valve.
