Sequence valves are generally used to activate a second cylinder once the first has reached the end of its stroke
They are a simple, cost-effective alternative to using pressure switches, electronics and multiple valves.
A sequence valve works similarly to a relief valve, once a cylinder (or possibly motor) reaches the end of its stroke, the pressure will rise and open the valve, allowing oil to flow to a second cylinder.
Our range of sequence valves all contains an internal check valve, allowing free flow on the return stroke.
The SV and VSL range of sequence valves are available from 1/4” up to 1” BSPP.
The VSL is a steel-bodied valve, allowing for adjustment pressures up to 300 Bar.
The SV has an aluminium body, allowing for adjustment pressures up to 260 Bar.
The SVLCC sequence valves are available in 3/4” BSPP, they are steel-bodied and have a maximum working pressure of 350 Bar.
With a compact, inline mount body, the SVLCC can be mounted almost anywhere.
The SVLCC0410 has an adjustment range of 50-140 bar, the SVLCC0420 has an adjustment range of 80-250 bar, both have a maximum flow rate of 120 litres per minute.
The SVLCC also has the added feature of being a back pressure-proof valve.
The SVL range of sequence valves are available in 3/8” and 1/2” BSPP, they are steel-bodied and have a maximum working pressure of 350 Bar.
With a compact, inline mount body, the SVL can be mounted almost anywhere.
The 3/8” BSPP valve has an adjustment range of 30-120 bar and a maximum flow of 40 litres per minute.
The 1/2” BSPP valve has an adjustment range of 30-140 bar and a maximum flow of 80 litres per minute.
The DSV sequence valve is available in 1/2” BSPP, they are aluminium bodied and have a maximum working pressure of 260 Bar.
