VUSF & SHV Shuttle Valves
Ball-type load shuttle valves consist of two inlets and one outlet port, they automatically prioritise flow from the higher pressure inlet port to the outlet port with an internal ball.
The internal ball is forced by oil from the higher pressure inlet port to block off the lower pressure inlet port.
Load shuttle valves are a useful method of providing a pilot signal for a variable displacement pump, a brake release for a hydraulic motor or any other application where two separate sources could supply one pilot “receiver”
