Swivels, also known as rotating unions or rotating couplings aide where there is a twisting or rotating movement of a hose or component
Twisting hoses can cause hose failure or fittings to loosen resulting in oil leaks, a hydraulic swivel allows the hose or component to move and eliminate leaks and unnecessary wear and tear.
Our range of swivels includes both straight and 90° unions all with male to female threads, ranging from 1/4” BSPP up to 1” BSPP.
Maximum working flow rates range from 25 litres per minute up 180 litres per minute with maximum working pressures of up to 400 Bar.
Take note of the maximum pressure for rotation listed, as pressure rises within the swivel, more force is applied to the bearings within, once the maximum pressure is reached the force on the bearings will cause the swivel to remain rigid until the pressure is lowered.
